I did this little guy a while ago, lots of fun working with glass!

Not sure if you've read Robert Genn's recent post about Daily Painting, if not you might find it of interest. Check it out here.  As you might imagine, I had a few things to say about it. You can see my comments, as well as a lot of other interesting ones, over on his site.

  2. Liz, thank you for balancing Robert Genn's post with your comments. I think he is missing some important aspects of the daily painting movement, and you have captured them with your usual understanding and style. I have learned so much with this approach, I only wish I had discovered it earlier.

  3. Really like this one! I love blue, and the colors grab me. I looked for your comments on Robert Genn's site, but couldn't find them. I read a lot of other comments though. It is so true what the old song says....
"the times they are a'changin'", and artists need to keep up with the times. I am finding the daily painting, or almost-daily painting to be very helpful. Subscribing to, and learning from so many other daily painters has helped me so much.

  13. Thanks guys! I find the key to painting glass is simplfy! I don't try to paint every reflection, just a few key ones that tell the story.

Nice of Bob Genn to offer a forum to express the value of Daily Painting, he likes to set the stage for these kinds of things. Bobbi, don't make the mistake of thinking he's shortsighted, far from it.
